September is gone and here we are in October already. There is still time to get out and check out the places you have not been to because you where so busy with all the other commitments going on during the Summer.

Our program for the October meeting will be on Metal Detectors and Steve Miller will be giving it. Steve also sets up a table full of items (including metal detectors)  that can be purchased at the meeting and if he doesn't have what you are looking for he will order it.

Also we will be electing new officers for the 2007/2008 year. If you would like to run for an officer position just let us know at the October meeting and you will be put on the list of nominees. We have over 360 people on the membership list but less than 1/3rd of those people are actively involved with the club. We would love to see more people step up to the plate and get involved.
